Adholes launches experimental ad campaign

by Adholes On The Inside

Adholes will be releasing this banner as a teaser campaign included in an email blast for the New York Festivals. It will also be appearing on select industry websites in an effort to drive new membership.

The idea was created in partnership with Tom Mullen of Exit3a.com, a long time Adhole advocate and renowned writer. Marc Lefton also designed and wrote parts of the campaign.

Instead of trying to be funny in the ad, Adholes felt that teasing an audience full of award winners and potential award winners would attract only the most curious creatives out there. And curious, extroverted creatives are the exact type of people Adholes needs. In a way, the campaign is self-selecting.

I'm mesmerized by this test. I can't take my eyes off it.

I like any test that does not require a No.2 pencil. Matter of fact, I took this test in pen.

Seriously, this is a Buddy 'Friendly' Wachenheimer level sales pitch. A first-class piece of showmanship, smart posturing, verbal wizardry and tasty image manipulation. Such a deal! It's that good. I'm impressed already! (What can I say, my close personal friend Tom, and my favorite pal Marc did it.) Bravo chums! The New York Festivals ain’t to shabby either, they realized that Adholes has the US internet market cornered for it’s membership comprised of thousands of past advertising award winners or future award winning wannabes scrambling to get more attention, or their first taste of fame, fortune, respect and groupie sex favors. That Lisa Roman is one smart cookie alright (up to three drinks and dinner now). BTW, don’t forget to remember-- vote Buddy Friendly for President in 2008.

*clicked* in the required places, pulled up the "test", read all the "yeses" and "noes" and "maybes" and ALL the last questions and...got 100% for being "lazy." But - peeshaw! I knew that a long time ago, when I first joined and became an - ADHOLE! Huzzah!

Sí........Ése es un pedazo de publicidad interactiva. Muy moderno. Apunta a consumidor. Bulls-eye. Los movimientos salieron, y recto, dentro de la pista del consumidor. Amor. Impresionante. Fenomenal. Grande. Ganador. Etc.

That's a piece of interactive advertising. Very modern. Targets the consumer. Bulls-eye. Moves left, and right, inside the consumer’s head. Love it. Awesome. Phenomenal. Great. Winner. Etc. Does it come in Spanish?
