The new jobs board

Hello – I don't do these posts too often, but it's nice that enough people have joined Adholes on the Inside that when I do there are people who care to listen. And cooincidentally, it's usually exactly who I want to reach that's in here.

So you may have noticed that one day the Jobs tab was gone. We're still waiting for a meager commission check from our former partner. (You know who I mean.) And now it's back - with our own service hosted by Jobthread.

I had decided that really the only way for us to make money (most of the members of Adholes not only don't help us by becoming a member, but they don't click banner ads either, leaving us to sell banners on a "branding basis." and a .01 clickthrough on Google Ads which are....pathetic.) is by doing a jobs board.

It seems like Adholes has self-selected quite the elite group. You're all bright, capable, talented. It's the ones who are not who fall by the wayside, never to return.

So now we're doing a free trial and I'm entirely pleased to see recruiters posting like they're at an all you can eat buffet. The few I've spoken to have said "Yes, we'll pay for postings if we see results." So where are the results? It's early, but they're not there yet.

So I'm asking - if you love us, and you love your friends and want to get them a new job, please take a moment and think ""who would be good for this position" and send it to anyone who is qualified for it. We're trying to get quality submissions - not quantity. Hey, there's even money in it for you. I bet if you spent 4 hours thinking you'd have a pretty good shot at that $2000 referral bonus that's posted up there.

Getting someone a new job is one of the most wonderful things you can do for a person. They'll never forget it. Unless they hire you and decide to get rid of you to show that they can't be influenced by friendships. Then that sucks.

Anyway - please take a moment to show the recruiters that Adholes support other Adholes and get everyone who deserves a new job the opportunity to succeed.

Thanks!
